Day to Day itinerary
Day 1: Welcome
Welcome to your accessible wheelchair tour in ARGENTINA. Our tour begins with a private transfer from aiport to your accessible hotel in Buenos Aires. We will check in at your hotel located at Recoleta neighborhood. We will have a quick briefing about the accessible Argentina adventure ahead. If you arrive early we will have a shared half day wheelchair accessible city tour in Buenos Aires arranged.
Day 2: Buenos Aires – Ushuaia (3 hour flight)
Transfer to Aeroparque airport in Buenos Aires to catch our flight to Ushuaia. Arrive to Ushuaia, transfer to our wheelchair accessible hotel and afternoon to discover this cute town. We will visit the Ushuaia Navy Base where is located the old prision closed in 1947, the end of the world museum, Saint Christopher tugbout, the parish “Our Lady of Mercy”, the Monument to the fallen in Malvinas war. In the mission neighborhood we will have an amazing panoramic view of the city and its surrounding mountains.
Day 3: Travels
Half day visit to the Tierra del Fuego National Park. Departure by National Route Nr 3 in south-west direction, skirting Beagle Channel. We will stop at the old End of the World Railway Station for those who want to make this trip, on a narrow path train, going through the valleys for about 20 minutes. (Access to the train is just wide enough for a regular manual wheelchair. Clients will transfer manually to regular seat, while inside the train). Then, once in the National Park, we will go on to Ensenada Bay, here Redonda Island can be seen. We will go across woods where we will observe the local flora and fauna, till we arrive at Lapataia Bay, the southernmost point of the continent. Return to Ushuaia. For the afternoon we will head towards the tourist pier to sail Beagle Channel, observing Argentinian coasts and Navarino Island on the opposite side (Chile). We will arrive at Les Eclaireurs Headlight, Ushuaia’s emblem. On our way back, we will sail among some islets. Elephant seals can be appreciated in one of them, whereas a variety of birds can be seen in the other. Arrival to Ushuaia. (Access to boat is done with ramps, which are approx 75 cm wide)
Day 4: Ushuaia – El Calafate flight (approx 1 hour flight)
Today we fly to El Calafate. Once arrive to El Calafate our guide and transportation will be waiting for us. We will then drive for approx 25 minutes to the town El Calafate and check in at our wheelchair accessible hotel. We will have some time on our own to settled in and then go for a quick walk around and dinner.
Day 5: Natural Wonder
After breakfast we will take our vehicle and drive towards the Perito Moreno glaciar. Pertio Moreno is an impressive natural wonder. It has more than 200 foot (60 meters) height of ice walls, which are so close to you than you can actully feel you are touching it. Access to look out points is all accesible. Return to El Calafate for dinner.
Day 6: El Calafate (half day glaciars)
We start early!! Trasnfer from El Calafate to Port of Punta Bandera (45 km away). We will board an accessible catamarán (access to boat via ramp), where we will sail across Argentino lake, until we reach the Upsala glaciar, which presents many icebergs as we get closer to it. Then we will continue until we reach Spegazzini Glaciar, which descends from the mountains to the lake, which is a perfect frame for a great picture. We will have a box lunch on the catamarán and return to Puerto Bandera. Return to El Calafate for dinner.
Day 7: Buenos Aires
Today we fly back to Buenos Aires. Time to get back to hotel and rest for a couple of hours. Early in the evening we will pick you up to go for a delicious dinner in an accessible restaurant in Buenos Aires followed by an excellent Tango and Folklore Show.
Day 8: El Tigre Delta
Today we have a half day excursion to El Tigre Delta. This is a very unique and beautiful delta formed by the Rio de la Plata river. Return to Buenos Aires after lunch.
Day 9: Farewell
End of services. Connection to Iguazu 3 day – 2 nights tour for the clients signed in.

Tour price includes daily cost of accessible transportation in Argentina and guides.
Not included in price
Internal flights within ARGENTINA are not included. We are happy to book the flights and include them in the package; however, this incurs an additional fee.
It is an all-inclusive basis tour. Transportation, accommodation, guide, and activities included. (Some meal as well according to program)
Hotels throughout the ARGENTINA program present a good level of accessibility. Some have roll in showers, some have small (5 inches) step to get into showers, grab on bars, but in general they adapt their facilities to host people using a wheelchair.
Re: boat rides on the Beagle channel as well as Argentino lake we manually assist the guest by moving or lifting wheelchair to enter the boat.

Individual or assisted manual transfer into seats is required.
LAT4ALL provides bilingual certified guides for all activities throughout the tour.
Re: assistants or help; we recommend clients use a manual chair, since the entire country is not 100% accessible. Therefore, we will provide one assistant per client to assist with the wheelchair when needed. This will only be for tours and activities, NOT personal activities or duties.
